The little things in life...

C man turned 10 months last week and just gets cuter and more of a handful by the day. He got to go for his first swim with us this past weekend and was a huge fan. He now has three of his top four teeth in. That last one needs to hurry up and pop on through. Teething really is the never ending battle.

Not a whole lot else is going on. He still eats good, sleeps good, most of the time, fighting the nursing sessions here and there. He isn’t pushing his walker thing as much as I would like, but cruises all around the furniture like it’s his job.

We are almost at the one year mark and I think I’m finally comfortable with the whole two kids thing. Really it’s just the logistics of going out with two at once. They are fine to go out with, but its so much easier not to have to lug two of them by myself if I don’t have to.

We have hit the 6 month mark with our nanny and it seems to be going really well with the kids and her. Please note, sharing a nanny with another family can be tough stuff, don’t say I didn’t warn you. But outside of that C really does like her and makes her work for her pay. He’s a bit of a clingy guy.

I’m on the fence as to whether to do a birthday party for C. I did do a medium size one for D so I feel a bit guilty not doing the same for C, but seriously the party is for us not them. Then I fall into having to do one for D too. Darn them having birthdays 3 weeks apart. I think eventually I’ll be that asshole parent who makes them have parties together, but I’m not ready for parties like that yet. (Me and my sister’s birthdays are 3 weeks apart also, so you would think I would be nicer to my kids, but no I won’t be).

We have a packed line up of events starting this weekend and running through to our beach vacation in September. So I know this little dudes last days of infancy are going to fly by. I just want to soak it all in while I can.
